MJ Girls SoccerTournament
This is a tournament that happens annually and it comprises of local teams which compete for championshionship and the best players get the opportunities of being scouted or shortlisted to higher levels.
Objectivesof the tournament
1. Promote Gender Equality in Sports
Provide a platform for girls to participate in sports, challenging gender stereotypes and encouraging equal opportunities for female athletes.
2. Empowerment of Girls
Boost girls’ confidence, leadership, and teamwork skills through participation in a competitive and collaborative environment.
3. Talent Identification
Giving the girls exposure and help them get scouted for high schools and clubs
4. Community Engagement & Social Integration
Bring together communities through sports, fostering unity and cooperation across different regions and social group
5. Education and Life Skills
Use soccer as a tool to teach life skills such as discipline, perseverance, and conflict resolution, while also advocating for the importance of education alongside sports.
